Soft-Lite Windows has won EnergyStar partner of the year for sustained excellence in maintaining its educational activities and development of new certified products. Initiated as a voluntary labeling program designed to identify and promote energy efficent products, EnergyStar has helped consumers save an estimated $392 billion since it’s creation in 1992.  Energy Star specifications differ with each item, and are set by either the Environmental Protection Agency or the Department of Energy.  Today we promote EnergyStar specifications as an unbiased and accurate comparison between two like products- such as windows.
