SUGARCREEK, Ohio — ProVia has been named a 2017 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year – Sustained Excellence Award winner for continued leadership in protecting our environment through superior energy efficiency achievements. ProVia’s accomplishments will be recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy in Washington, D.C. on April 26, 2017.
ProVia, an ENERGY STAR partner since 2002, will be honored for its continual performance improvement and its window and door products each year and commitment to educational activities.
According to Phil Wengerd, vice president of market strategies for ProVia, “This particular ENERGY STAR award is very special to us. Not only because it is ProVia’s 10th award, but also because it is the first one awarded for both ProVia’s doors and windows. All prior ENERGY STAR awards were in recognition of our doors, but this one helps validate the new window program that we launched in September of 2015.”
